Panasonic Whisper Fit DC Bathroom Exhaust Fan

The WhisperFit DC Fan is an ideal retrofit vent fan solution. Its built-in energy-efficient ECM (DC) motor, paired with a Pick-A-Flow airflow selector, allows you to choose the required airflow (50, 80, or 110 CFM). The single-hinged Flex-Z Fast bracket, pre-installed alignment guides, and temporary clip facilitate a flexible, fast, and easy installation. This vent fan can be used to comply with the latest codes and standards.

The low-profile housing design of the WhisperFit DC Fan ensures a proper fit in any bathroom ceiling or other areas of a home with at least 5 5/8" depth, allowing you to utilize the existing duct. The slide and snap-in junction box and duct collar provide greater flexibility when wiring and attaching the duct. The premium ceiling ventilation fan now includes preinstalled plastic alignment guides and a temporary retaining clip, which will hold the fan in place while the installer fastens it.

Once installed, you can use the Pick-A-Flow airflow selector to customize the airflow to meet your customers' needs. The fan features a plastic standard 4" adapter with a backdraft damper/shutter, allowing for better air tightness (a 3" reducer is included in the box). The built-in metal flange provides blocking for penetrations through drywall as an Air Barrier, and assists with the decrease in leakage in the Building Envelope during blower door testing.

The WhisperFit DC Fan is UL listed for tub/shower enclosure when GFCI protected and UL listed for use with the Panasonic Ceiling Radiation Damper (model # PC-RD05C5). It comes with a 6-year warranty for the ECM motor, a 3-year warranty on parts, and a 5-year warranty on the LED chip panel.
